Changing Weight of Categories in FOCUS

Use the steps below to change the weight of a category in FOCUS that you have previously set up and are trying to modify.

In the gradebook, click the Category tab > Select the Category that you want to edit > Click the Edit link next to the category name > Change the Percent field to the desired value > Note: Do not uncheck any sections in 'Linked Sections' here > Click the Save button > A new window opens where you can select the periods that will receive the changes > Uncheck any periods that should not be changed > Click Save > The change should take affect only for the selected periods.
