Call Forwarding

Utilize these instructions with NEC phones to set up for call forwarding (i.e. you want your calls to ring through to another extension) If you want to forward to an outside number make sure to preceed the destination number with 9.

Call Forward All

Forwards all incoming calls immediately

            Activate                                                                                 Cancel

1. Lift the handset and dial 841                                             1. Lift Handset and dial 841
2. Dial 1 to set                                                                           2. Dial 0 to cancel                           
3. Dial the destination number                                              3. Replace Handset
4. Replace handset

Call Forward Busy/No Answer

Forwards all calls if the extension is in use or after a preset number of rings

            Activate                                                                                 Cancel

1. Lift handset and dial 844                                                    1. Lift handset and dial 844
2. Dial 1 to set                                                                           2. Dial 0 to cancel
3. Dial the destination number                                              3. Replace handset
4. Replace handset

Call Forward Both Ring

Rings your extension and also an alternate extension at the same time. The call can be answered at either extension.

1. Lift handset and dial 845                                                    1. Lift handset and dial 845
2. Dial 1 to set                                                                           2. Dial 0 to cancel
3. Dial the destination number                                              3. Replace handset
4. Replace handset
