Maximize Window Grayed Out

If the Google Chrome windows maximization icon (mceclip0.png) is grayed out and you can't click on it: 

 

  1. Type the following into the address bar from within Chrome: chrome://flags
  2. Type the following into the search bar within flags: touch
    mceclip1.png
  3. Ensure the drop down box to the right of these flags are either 'default' or 'disabled'
    mceclip2.png
